Hi there! I’m Uranio, a new wiki editor, eager to learn the ropes and contribute to this amazing community.

I recently joined with the 'goal of improving my editing skills and adding helpful, well-researched content to the wiki. Since joining, I’ve been working on learning the basics of wiki editing. So far, I’ve gotten comfortable with small text edits, minor fixes, and adding relevant info where I can. Formatting and style guidelines are starting to make sense, though I know there’s always more to learn!

I’m also a gamer with a love for rich storytelling and worldbuilding in-games. On Steam, I’ve built a varied library with titles that offer creative gameplay and immersive settings, like Space Station 14, Garry's Mod, and many sci-fi and sandbox games. I’m drawn to games where player creativity and community interactions are central, and I often share screenshots, reviews, and insights.

I’ve been part of several major gaming communities over the years, connecting with like-minded players and exploring new ways to enjoy these virtual worlds. For a deeper look at my gaming journey, visit my Steam Profile

Learning Goals

Since I’m new to this, I’m focusing on building up my knowledge in areas like:

  • Formatting Syntax: Understanding headings, bullet points, templates, and other elements that make pages look polished.
  • Page Structure: Learning how to structure information in a way that makes sense to readers.
  • Citation Standards: Finding and correctly citing reliable sources, which is super important for any wiki content.

I’m slowly gaining confidence, and I know with time I’ll get better at applying these standards.

My Editing Interests

Right now, my main interests are:

  • Gaming Wikis:

Especially pages related to game lore, characters, and mechanics.

  • Roleplaying Content:

I’m excited to work on pages about fictional worlds, factions, and character backstories.

  • Guides for New Editors:

One day, when I’m more experienced, I’d love to help write beginner-friendly guides and tutorials.

Conclusion

Thanks for reading a bit about me! I’m excited to be part of the wiki community, and I look forward to learning, growing, and contributing to make this place even better. If you see me around, feel free to say hi or give me any pointers—I’d really appreciate it!
