Chemist

Superiors: Chief Medical Officer
Difficulty: Very Hard
Access: Medical, Chemistry
Duties: Make drugs crucial chemicals for medical purposes.

As a Chemist, you have a crucial job of supplying the medbay with important chemicals that are much more potent than topicals. Your lab should be supplied with everything to start off.

You and your Witch's Hut!

Before proceeding to "Potion Making", it would be the best you get familiar with your equipment.

ChemDispen.png Chemical Dispenser

This dispenser will be already fully stocked with jugs full of very basic chemicals that you will have to mix together to create medical ones.

Chemmaster.png ChemMaster 4000

Every Chemist's beloved device. It can store an unlimited amount of chemicals, capable of separating different liquids from one another inside the beaker as well as convert chemicals in it's buffer into Pills and Chemical Bottles.

Grinder.png Reagent Grinder

Reagent Grinder is crucial for grinding plasma into it's powdery state and more. Many materials (even such as Plasteel and Plastic) can be inserted inside the Grinder to blend them into raw components.

Centrifuge.png Centrifuge

One of the two very often overlooked Chemist's machines. The way it works is pretty simple, a beaker with certain liquids (see Recipes) can be inserted inside the Centrifuge and be processed into different ones afterwards (As an example, Blood can be centrifuged into clean Iron that can be used to increase blood level of some Species).

Electrolysis.png Electrolysis

Another often overlooked machine. It works completely identical to Centrifuge, however uses vials instead of beakers and features different Recipes.

So.. How do I cook?

You have learned what machine does what, now would be the greatest time to begin doing chemistry. For a full list of possible chemicals you can produce - head to Guide to Chemistry, however here is the very basic ones that should always be at the Medical Department's disposal:
